I never really put that much thought into shaving cream.

You spray it in your hands, rub it on your face, and shave.  It's a relatively simple process requiring very little equipment or training.

Then I noticed the warnings on the back of the can.

"Do not heat for warm lather or any other purpose."

This lets me know that at some time in history, some genius heated his can of Barbasol® "for warm lather," and thus forced the company to put this on the can.

But it leaves me wondering,
WHAT "other purpose???"
